During his professional hockey career, Wouter played hockey for 15 years at HC Bloemendaal and played in the HIL for four years (Hockey India League). But he has also been to India many times with the Dutch team and has visited the country for 1MHL.

As a result, he has already seen many places in India and feels connected to the country. Even though he is now in the merger and acquisition world in the business field, he thinks it is nice to stay active in the sport this way.
